Switching it up here and using HATE COMMENTS OF THE WEEK™️ to clear my name.

Usually, it’s a laugh fest down here, but this DM really stuck with me and was hard to read. We started this company to create a platform where sustainable fashion brands are vetted to the highest standards and promoted so they can gain more traction with consumers (you!). Any attempt we make externally to promote our brand and achieve mass-market appeal is completely different from the internal day-to-day of ensuring we only allow the best brands onto our platform.

I know we tend to shy away from talking about sustainability, and candidly, that’s because consumers are tired of being spoken at while companies do nothing to change their practices (and this I know, because I was that consumer). That consideration is factored into how we’ve positioned our brand externally. But please know, should you ever have a question about any of the decisions we make around sustainability, we are a completely open book because we truly couldn't prioritize it more.

&& to our hater, being called generic/trendy is murder in my eyes.
